Privacy Policy for Vozhyk

This Privacy Policy explains how Vozhyk handles information when you use the Vozhyk iOS app. Vozhyk provides on-device object detection, local radio-signal awareness, optional local object tracking logs, and optional communication with a user-owned local ESP32 detector-alignment accessory on the same Wi-Fi network. The app is built to work locally on your device.

Data Collection

Vozhyk does not collect personal data from users. The app does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email address, and does not send app activity, camera images, sensor readings, location data, Bluetooth scan results, object detections, or track logs to a server controlled by us.

Camera Access

Vozhyk requests access to your device camera to show the live camera view and perform on-device object detection. Camera frames are processed on your device. Vozhyk does not upload, sell, or share camera images or video.

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Awareness

Vozhyk can scan nearby Bluetooth Low Energy signals and, where iOS permits access, read the current Wi-Fi network name to identify possible drone or controller-like radio signatures. Wi-Fi network name access is best-effort and may not be available on every device, network, or iOS configuration. This processing happens on your device. Vozhyk does not send Bluetooth scan results or Wi-Fi network names to us.

Location, Compass, and Motion

Vozhyk can use location, compass heading, barometer, and device motion data to estimate detected object coordinates, support local tracking features, and adjust camera zoom while scanning. These calculations are performed on your device. Vozhyk does not upload this sensor data to us.

Local ESP32 Accessory Communication

If you choose to connect Vozhyk to a compatible ESP32 accessory, the app sends local HTTP requests to the accessory at the local network address 192.168.4.1. These requests may include the device name, object type, object screen position, prediction values, confidence, estimated object coordinates, and phone location or heading values used by the accessory for detector alignment or positioning. This communication stays on the local Wi-Fi network between your device and your accessory. Vozhyk does not send this accessory data to us.

Local App Settings and Track Logs

Vozhyk may store app preferences locally on your device, such as enabled object types, display settings, prediction settings, and optional local accessory alignment settings. If you enable object track logging, Vozhyk may also store local track logs on your device. These local settings and logs are used only to operate app features and are not transmitted to us.

No Advertising or Tracking

Vozhyk does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).

No Analytics or Third-Party Data Collection

Vozhyk does not include analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or other third-party SDKs that collect user data.

Children's Privacy

Vozhyk is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Retention

Because Vozhyk does not collect personal data, we do not retain personal data on our servers. Local app preferences and local track logs remain on your device until you change them, clear them in the app, or delete the app.

Your Privacy Choices

You can revoke camera, Bluetooth, location, and local network access at any time in iOS Settings. Some app features may not work when related permissions are disabled. You can clear local track logs in the app and remove locally stored app data by deleting Vozhyk from your device.

Important Usage Limits

Vozhyk is an awareness and detection utility. It is not an emergency service, certified security system, aviation safety system, weapon system, autonomous control system, or professional measurement instrument. Vozhyk does not control weapons, firing mechanisms, drones, aircraft, vehicles, or safety-critical equipment. Detection, distance, coordinate, and radio-signature results are estimates and may be inaccurate depending on device conditions, model behavior, lighting, sensor quality, radio environment, and accessory setup.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if Vozhyk's features or data practices change. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
