Privacy Policy for MyFinance

This Privacy Policy explains how MyFinance handles information when you use the MyFinance iOS app. MyFinance is an iPhone finance app for personal income, spending, accounts, family tags, multi-currency records, assets, investments, and optional Lithuania small-business bookkeeping.

Account Requirement

MyFinance does not require a user account. We do not ask you to sign in to a MyFinance server, and we do not operate a MyFinance backend for uploading your manually entered finance ledger.

Local Finance and Business Records

Your manually entered transactions, categories, saved names, family members, account balances, crypto holdings, investments, and Lithuania business bookkeeping records are stored locally on your device using Apple app storage technologies. These records are not sent to us.

CSV Import

If you import a CSV file, the file is processed by the app to create local transaction records. MyFinance does not upload imported CSV files to us.

Market Prices and Exchange Rates

MyFinance can request exchange rates, crypto market data, and share lookup or quote data from third-party providers. These requests may include currency pairs, asset names, symbols, or market identifiers needed to fetch the requested information. MyFinance does not send your full transaction ledger to these providers.

Advertising

MyFinance uses Google Mobile Ads to support the free version of the app. Google advertising technology may process device information, ad interactions, approximate location or region signals, identifiers, and other data needed to request, deliver, measure, and improve ads, subject to Google's policies and the consent choices available to you.

Where required, MyFinance may show a consent form before personalized ads are used. If you buy or restore Remove Ads, ad placements are hidden in the app for the Apple Account that owns the purchase.

In-App Purchases

MyFinance uses Apple StoreKit for the optional Remove Ads purchase and restore flow. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. The app may store a local entitlement status so it can hide ads after a successful purchase or restore.

Lithuania Small-Business Bookkeeping

The Lithuania business workspace stores business profile, invoice, expense, journal, and tax-estimate information locally on your device. MyFinance does not submit filings, payments, invoices, i.SAF data, or other business records to VMI, Sodra, banks, accountants, or government systems. You are responsible for reviewing, filing, and paying through official channels where required.

Notifications

If deadline reminders or local notifications are enabled, they are scheduled locally by the app where supported by iOS. MyFinance does not use a server to send business deadline reminders.

No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell your personal finance records or business bookkeeping records. Advertising partners may process advertising-related data as described above when ads are enabled.

Data Retention

Because your core finance and business records are stored locally, they remain on your device until you edit them, delete them, clear app data where available, or delete the app. We do not retain your manually entered finance ledger on our servers.

Your Choices

  • You can edit or delete records in the app where the app provides those controls.
  • You can remove locally stored app data by deleting MyFinance from your device.
  • You can manage ad tracking and privacy permissions in iOS Settings.
  • You can buy or restore Remove Ads if that in-app purchase is available.

Children's Privacy

MyFinance is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Important Usage Limits

MyFinance is an informational finance and bookkeeping tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, bookkeeping, accounting, or legal advice. Market prices, exchange rates, tax estimates, deadlines, and bookkeeping calculations may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by changing rules. Verify important figures and obligations before making decisions, filing returns, or making payments.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if MyFinance features, providers, or data practices change. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
