Privacy Policy for Magnetic Multi-Tool

This Privacy Policy explains how Magnetic Multi-Tool handles information when you use the Magnetic Multi-Tool iOS app. Magnetic Multi-Tool is an iPhone utility that uses the device magnetometer and motion sensors to show local magnetic-field changes.
Account Requirement
Magnetic Multi-Tool does not require a user account. We do not ask you to sign in to a Magnetic Multi-Tool server, and we do not operate a Magnetic Multi-Tool backend for uploading your sensor readings or saved sessions.
Sensor Processing
The app uses iPhone magnetometer and motion sensor readings to show magnetic-field magnitude, relative changes, baseline/tare values, peaks, vectors, and scan summaries. These readings are processed on device for the app features you use.
Saved Map Sessions
If you save a map or magnetic walk session, the session data is stored locally on your device using Apple app storage technologies. Magnetic Multi-Tool does not upload saved map sessions to us.
Advertising
Magnetic Multi-Tool uses Google Mobile Ads to support the free version of the app. Google advertising technology may process device information, ad interactions, approximate location or region signals, identifiers, diagnostics, and other data needed to request, deliver, measure, and improve ads, subject to Google's policies and the consent choices available to you.
Where required, Magnetic Multi-Tool may show a consent form before personalized ads are used. The app does not send magnetometer recordings or saved map sessions to a developer backend for advertising.
In-App Purchases
Magnetic Multi-Tool uses Apple StoreKit for the optional one-time Remove Ads purchase and restore flow. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. The app may store a local entitlement status so it can hide ads and add-on interruptions after a successful purchase or restore.
No Sale of Sensor Data
We do not sell your magnetometer readings, saved map sessions, or other locally stored app records. Advertising partners may process advertising-related data as described above when ads are enabled.
Data Retention
Because saved sessions and app settings are stored locally, they remain on your device until you edit them, delete them, clear app data where available, or delete the app. We do not retain your magnetometer recordings on our servers.
Your Choices
- You can delete saved sessions in the app where the app provides those controls.
- You can remove locally stored app data by deleting Magnetic Multi-Tool from your device.
- You can manage ad tracking and privacy permissions in iOS Settings.
- You can buy or restore the one-time Remove Ads purchase if that in-app purchase is available.
Children's Privacy
Magnetic Multi-Tool is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Important Safety Limits
Magnetic Multi-Tool is an informational utility. It reports magnetic anomalies and relative magnetic-field changes. It does not guarantee detection of wiring, pipes, wall structure, cameras, microphones, trackers, hazardous materials, or safe drilling conditions. Do not use the app as the only basis for construction, electrical, security, or safety decisions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if Magnetic Multi-Tool features, providers, or data practices change. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
